Directions from the M62
West
Leave the M62 at J23 and take the A640 for Huddersfield then
follow signs for Huddersfield and Ring Road. When you get to the Ring
Road follow signs for
A62 Oldham,
passing the town centre and bus station on the left.
Turn right onto the A62 to Oldham
(Manchester Road) and continue until you reach Linthwaite.
Once in Linthwaite turn
right immediately after the Coach & Horses pub (on the right)
and follow the road down to Thornton & Ross.
Directions from the M62
East
Leave the M62 at J24 and take the A629 for Huddersfield. When you
get to the Ring Road follow signs for
A62 Oldham,
passing the town centre and bus station on the left.
Turn right onto the A62 to Oldham (Manchester Road) and continue until you reach
Linthwaite. Once in Linthwaite turn right immediately after the Coach & Horses
pub (on the right) and follow the road down to Thornton & Ross.
Directions from the M1 South
Leave the M1 at J38 and take the A637 to Huddersfield. Continue
to follow signs for Huddersfield (taking the A642
followed by the A629). When you get to Huddersfield follow the
ring road past Huddersfield
University and with the town centre on your right.
Turn onto the A62 to Oldham (NB: This
exit is shared with A616 for Holmfirth (left lane), so take care
to follow A62 (right lane)). Continue along the A62 (Manchester
Road) until you reach Linthwaite. Once in Linthwaite turn right
immediately
after the Coach & Horses pub (on the right) and follow the
road down to Thornton & Ross.
Directions from the South
West
Leave the M6 at J21A and follow the M62/M60 towards Leeds.
Leave the M62 at J23 and take the A640 for Huddersfield then follow
signs for Huddersfield and Ring Road. When you get to the Ring
Road follow signs for A62 Oldham, passing the town centre and bus
station on the left.
Turn right onto the A62 to Oldham (Manchester Road) and continue until you reach
Linthwaite. Once in Linthwaite turn right immediately after the Coach & Horses
