Quality Control Analyst

The Manufacturing Department is seeking to recruit a Process Worker to join their multi skilled team to produce quality pharmaceutical products on an industrial scale. The role primarily revolves around the timely manufacture of large and small scale liquid medicines, creams and ointments using a wide variety of processing equipment and techniques. You will need to ensure that the product is manufactured safely and efficiently, following defined procedures in line with demand.

Due to the nature of the role the successful candidate will receive comprehensive training. Previous processing experience would be ideal, experience of working within an FMCG/Pharma environment would also be an advantage. The ability to follow defined procedures, accurately record information and approach work in a logical/efficient manner is essential.

You will be required to carry out the below tasks:
• Manufacture finished products, in line with current GMP practice
• Complete documentation in an accurate manner
• Work in other related manufacturing areas
• Clean all process equipment and work areas
• Dispense ingredients required for manufacture
• Ensure you comply with all Health and Safety guidelines

The ideal candidate will need to be educated to a minimum of GCSE (or equivalent) in Science, Maths and English. Applicants must be able to work to a high standard, pay attention to detail at all times, communicate at all levels and be accountable for their actions in a variety of situations. You must be flexible, enthusiastic, positive and be able to work on your own or part of a team.

This role is based on a rotating three week shift pattern. The morning shift will operate between 6.00am and 1.36pm Monday to Friday. The afternoon shift will operate between 1.30pm and 10.00pm Monday to Thursday and between 1.30pm and 5.30pm on a Friday. The night shift will operate between 9.54pm and 6.06am Monday to Thursday and between 5.24pm and 10.36pm on a Friday.
