Coronavirus (COVID-19)

We at Thornton & Ross, part of the STADA group, are aware of the uncertainty that the evolving coronavirus COVID-19 situation is creating. We want to assure you that we are doing everything possible to ensure an uninterrupted supply of high-quality medicines, in line with our purpose of caring for people’s health as a trusted partner.

Working closely with our supply-chain partners and relevant authorities, Thornton & Ross is taking several measures to safeguard supplies for patients and healthcare professionals of vital health and hygiene products. Our dedicated staff are working as part of the global STADA supply-chain network to ensure that manufacturing is continuing at full speed at our facilities around the world, with production of essential products such as cancer therapies being prioritised. We are also working to ensure an uninterrupted supply of raw materials needed to produce our generic and consumer healthcare medicines.

While supporting healthcare systems is a key priority for Thornton & Ross in these challenging times, so too is protecting the health and well-being of our employees. To assist social distancing and help mitigate the spread of the virus, all of our colleagues not directly involved in producing, testing and dispatching medicines are now working remotely. All non-essential travel and in-person meetings have been suspended. As we have taken the decision not to call on doctors, clinics or pharmacists face-to-face at the moment, we are offering support remotely using a variety of tools.

We thank all of our colleagues across the STADA group for their collaboration and commitment in the spirit of One STADA.
